I thought it would be a good idea to start mixing up the content on the blog.
So instead of just focusing on sharing scientific research and studies, I will blogging my favorite food/meals from the week and various other life updates related to health, fitness, herbal medicine and nutrition.
Things have been rather busy this week between writing articles on this blog, making youtube videos, debunking fad diets myths on Twitter and working on various other health business related projects that I will be sharing the news of soon on this blog.
We will also be hosting lots of free competitions on this website soon giving away free health foods, supplements, herbs and much more. So keep an eye out for updates.
Here are some of my favorite healthy meals and food from the week.
Purdie’s Incredibles CBD(Cannabidiol) Infused Granola, Kefir and Berries
This was an interesting and different breakfast to my usual. First time trying Purdie’s Incredibles Full-Spectrum CBD Oil Infused Almond, Cranberry & Walnut Granola.
Served with Kefir and mixed berries. Was a very delicious, healthy and great breakfast for satisfying any sweet cravings.
Hummus with Green Pea Fusilli Pasta + Asparagus & Tomatoes
This was one of my lunches during the week and was a creation loosely inspired by vegan Yotuber Caitlin Shoemakers Hummus Pasta Recipe that I came across a while back.
For this meal I used Green Pea Fusilli Pasta, which is a great plant-based, gluten free and protein rich pasta alternative that I am a huge fan of.
As you can probably see from the photo I went a little bit heavy on the Hummus so that pasta was absolutely caked in it. However, overall the meal was a nice creamy, plant-based, protein rich and dairy/cheese free pasta alternative.
Organic Texas BBQ Steak Strips, Sweet Potato Wedges, Broccoli & Tomatoes
Grilled Thai Salmon with Butternut Crinklecut Chips & Broccoli
It was National Fish & Chips Day here in the UK last Friday(7th June 2019) and here was my healthier take on our nations favorite dish.
The dish was Paleo-friendly and utilized Salmon with a Thai marinade over the traditional Cod in batter.
Butternut squash was cut into crinkle cut fries and baked in the oven in a little extra virgin olive oil, served with broccoli.
Dark Chocolate Superfood Peanut Butter Cups
My weekly treat which was a homemade creation, which was my dark chocolate superfood peanut butter cups.
Very delicious, healthy and low in sugar compared to other treats.
