One of my recent purchases from Sainsbury’s supermarket here in the UK, which was the Kung Pao chicken with zesty sauce meal, produced by Fit Kitchen.

I hadn’t come across Fit Kitchen’s brand before, so I was very eager to pick up one of their meals to review for the blog.

Fit Kitchen describes their healthy meals as created by nutritionists and loved by chefs.

The Fit Kitchen Kung Pao Chicken meal provides a whopping 34g of protein, 3 of your 5 a day, is low carbohydrate, has 4g of fibre and contains 295 calories.

The Natural Health Blogger’s Review

With my busy and active schedule, I find having healthy and fresh ready meals on hand to be very helpful.

The Fit Kitchen meals are right up my street from a nutritional perspective and they fit my typical macro-nutrient ratio well.

I like that they are plant-based meals and contain little to no grains, other than some wheat flour in the sauce, which you can always omit.

The Fit Kitchen meals also provide 3 of your 5 a day, so they are a very good choice for a healthy lunch for example.

The taste was acceptable for a very clean and healthy meal also.

I will definitely be picking up more of the Fit Kitchen meals as they are well priced at £3.00 and you get a good portion of food for the price.

The Fit Kitchen meal are also very easy to prepare and cook, all you need to do is pour the sauce over the ingredients and stick in the microwave for 4 minutes, no fuss, then it’s ready to eat.
